Thank you Taraman! No orange pekoe? I'll take Earl Grey with milk and sugar please! And I'd love some Venician chocolate! Happy Halloween!
"Invite someone dangerous to tea" was one of the life philosophies on a poster I used to have. There were also things like "Make little signs that say yes! and post them all over your house. Hug trees. Make friends with freedom & uncertainty" etc. I think it was Sark from the 80's...
Have a good day!

As it happens, while you were writing this I was working my way through a lovely large pot of organic Assam...
Too much caffeine today, so I'll take the Rooibosh. Do you happen to have any fresh ginger I could infuse in it for extra kick?
I'll certainly help you out with a slice of battenburg too, so long as you don't mind me taking it to pieces and eating the cake and marzipan separately ... yum. Though if you do have that ginger, the chocolate and tangy orangey bit of the jaffa cakes would go beautifully.
"Tea and Philosophy" - well-used phrase/association (try the link below), but I'm not sure of its origins. I guess it must have something to do with the long association between Eastern philosophy (Taoism, Buddhism) and the importance of tea in traditional Eastern culture.
I'm sure you're going to tell us ;-)

It is a very good idea to give a call for a Tea, Shall like to join. Now, let me tell u there are some hazard about things like cake, chocolates and cofee. Like the high Calories content and Caffeine.
What i shall go for, shall be Green Tea as it serves as Oxident, and it does not has nicotine like the normal tea, as we dont boil them once the tea leaves are added to the boiling water.

Thanks a lot for the cozy invitation.
I am used to lipton tea red label (indian) with fresh squashed ginger, a couple of cloves and some cardmoms - every morning.
It is the best time of my day.
Yes some garlic bread to go will be fine.
Tea time is the best time to have those conversations which can save the course of humanity. In Paris the men at the cafe' discussed science medicine and philosophy, in USA it was at bars where people met to give birth to the country. In India, it is at Tea that marriages are arranged.

You are a merry gentleman in Queensland, and after the tea and biscuits we will fly to the main land and take a train to France. I would like to sip a bit of Green Tea, for the energy, also we'll take the chocolate on the train to Northern France. It will be enjoyable to spend Halloween in France, Thanks...

People crave company, even the virtual kind. I'll have some tea too, and pile on the cake. I love cake.
