I only sniff milk when it resembles yoghurt. Like the crap my wife left in a cup yesterday.

Yes in my previous life as a kitty I made sure to sniff the milk in my dish before I lapped it up because my owner was wont to leave me strawberry flavored milk on occasion, and I don't really like strawberry flavored milk, never have.

I never sniff the milk. I don't want to smell it. When the expiration date comes and goes it's out. I dont' like bad smells.

Yes...I only ever use milk for cereal or cooking...the only kind of milk I drink is chocolate. But, I've bought milk before and had it go bad on me two days after I opened it with two weeks to go before the sell-by date...so, yeah, I always smell it first.

No,because its always freshly bought.With 4 in our household milk never gets the chance to go off.

I look at the expiry date, sniff it and jiggle it for thickness, and if it sniffs me back.. I chunk it.. hahahaha!
