First let him score runs in domestic cricket, then select him. We don't want an experienced person with no present form and this will be unusual for a great player like Ganguly. Nevertheless, the most experienced person Chappel is with the Indian team. So, don't worry !

Since the World Cup are few months away, there is no point in experimentation any more. Considering the poor form of Ganguly in the recent past recalling him will be an experimentation, which is not worth trying as in his present form he will be only a liability and not an asset.

They can not select many players at a time who are out of form, like Virender Shewag,Sachin Tendulakar, Mohd Kaif, (already selected in Indian squad for South Africa tour), if Sourav, Laxman also selected who will score runs.........
Sourav Ganguly is out because of bad luck and poor selection methods of BCCI. If they can give a fair chance to Virender Shewag, Sachin Tendulakar etc. why not to Ganguly ? ? ? ?
