go to any rally cross meeting and you see evos and scoobies eaten and by the likes of rover metros, ford fucus and everything else out there. everyone seems to wonder round wearing their subaru jackets, to be honest i'd be embarest when you see them getting lapped on the track. off the track my tuned MG ZS 2.5 V6 not only looks sooooo much better but it leaves the afore mentioned escort look alikes for dead dispite beeing 2 wheel drive. my theory is that on play station games evos and scoobies are portrayed as good cars. anyone else realised?

Scoobies and Evo's made their names in the rally world, winning numerous world titles. Rallycross is a totally different sport as you well know if you compete. Rallycross is all about short sprint races where power is essential. Rallying however takes place over a much longer course where other factors come into play, reliability being a pretty major one. I would also suggest that a rallycross track (such as Lydden Hill of Brands Hatch) does not offer the extremes of terrain that a forest rally stage does.

I really don't want to know what A Ford Fucus is! Evo's & Scoobies are built for full rally events, too big & heavy for rallycross, even stripped out! U put your Rover 25 up against them in a rally and think you'd notice (even if you had 4 wheel drive). Saying that though I agree with you, in games they are always portrayed as the "top range" cars. By Rover Metro I presume you mean the 6R4 not the 1 litre version my mother in law uses to go shopping in. My mate has three of these beasts, each with different engines, one of which is a Scooby plant, and it is SERIOUSLY quick (not raced, just tested) with a good powerband all through range (and a turbo lag inhibitor). Mitsubishi Evo's are ok, but bit twitchy for my liking. Have owned both at one point, but no longer so can't say I'm biased either ;)

in the experience that your MG ZS 2.5 V6 leaves an Impreza or an evo for lifeless then my call is Charlie Chaplin. a time-honored Impreza rapid will consume your zs180 and an STI with a prodrive equipment equipped will make it look like that is status nevertheless. As for Evos, that is only easy stupid to even conceive that your MG ought to out run one. I went with a mate of mine to trychronic an Impreze STI and it replaced into an exceedingly very quickly motor vehicle. i've got pushed a ZS180 and that isn't any the place close to as quickly. i anticipate the Metros you're speaking approximately are the 6r4 version which had a mid fixed 3.0 V6 engine which replaced right into a non rapid version of the negine suited to the XJ220. sure they're quickly. I watched one blow an Escort Cosworth and a Delta integrale into the weeds at a rally as quickly as. TBH with any form of racing the means of the motive force is the biggest component. Why do no longer you genuinelychronic one? then you definately must be able to remark. it is likewise worth stating, there are quite a great sort of two.0 sport imprezas available with rapid physique kits on that are why you have left one for lifeless.

I agree althoug scoobies and evos are very cool looking cars, the best rally cars where the group "B" rally cars from the eighties. the likes of the Ford RS 2000,the MG Merto,Audi Quatro,Lanica,

I also prefer the old type scoobie, the ones that where rallied during the ninties, when surbaru desided to put bug-eye head lamps in their cars i lost intrest, the newer ones that are now being rallied in this years rally championship are much better looking.

i think that you need to find a dictionary cos obviously you can`t spell, but i see what you mean the evos and scoobies are too big and slow to compete with any lighter cars like the metros etc. it`s all about power to weight ratios and thats the difference, plus the drivers of the scoobies and evos may well be any on of the following, blind, fat, women
