Does anybody know if there any difference between Joëlle and Joelle? In terms of meaning, usage and maybe pronunciations, I meant.

It's a french name (first name) for women (for men you use Joël) It can be written both way, but generally, you'll see Joëlle.
You can say it : Jo (not Djo) and the letter L so Jo-L (it's exactly the same pronounciation for men)
And it doesn't mean pretty, the word for that is "Joli(e)"

They way it is spelled/written (with the two dots over the letter E) is how it is written in french. Baby name websites state that is of hebrew origin.
The name Joelle means "Jehovah is God" or "Jehovah is the lord"
If you are a Jehovah's witness, this would be a good name for your child.
The male version is Joel.

In French it means pretty or beautiful. Other than that I don't know.
