actually. the question is.. how m i gonna tell my friend if im going for a cosmetic surgery OR should i tell my friends??

im in high school now.. its kind off my last year and ill be off to college in 2007.. i plan to get my nose done in like a month.. i am not ugly but my nose is flat and it makes me look ugly..so.. im sure people will know if i get my nose done..you know..from a flat and huge nose become a beautiful nose with a nice bridge..duh..who won't notice that..especially your best friend who see you everyday in school and even know how many moles i have.

now my main problem is.. i don't know whether to tell my friends or not?? i dont know how to tell them?? should i even tell them??

well.. if i tell them.. im afraid they will see me differently.. or they'll treat me different and all stuffs.. im scared..

well.. if i don't tell them.. what happens if i see them one day in my new college?? and i can't avoid them forever.. especially my most most best friends.
HeLp

If they are truly your most dear friends, they'll be happy for you since it sounds like it's something that will give you more confidence and make you feel better about yourself. True friends will stand by you no matter what and you shouldn't be afraid to tell them something like this. They should be there for you during your recovery. If you tell them and they act different towards you, then they were not really your friends to begin with. Good Luck!

I say no. You'd be surprised at the things people don't realize. If you put some highlights in your hair and / try some new makeup, most people won't realize it's your nose. The question is: Can you endure the isolation until it's over? How're you gonna explain that? I had a friend whose nose was flattened in a car accident. (Before the accident she was beautiful.) Would you believe, her friends talked her Out of the surgery! That's why I'm saying, just do it!

well altho i think u are too young to do a cosmetic surgery and by this age u should have accept yourself has who u are. If u are decided on this subject then u should tell them and explain the motives, of course they will say that u are shallow at first but if u give strong points of view and if u tell them : "i know who i am and if this is making me happy pls be with me"(u know is amazing but friends seem to be with u more in the bad moments rather through the good ones)......and explain them why do u want this surgery done........but i would advice u to think twice. all the best.............and beside that is just a nose surgery is not a changing sex surgery............

If you're that afraid of what your friends will say (and if your life is ruled by your friends' opinions), maybe you should leave your nose alone.
