Everytime I am nearing my menstural date each month, my breasts get very tight and pains a lot. The worst pains occurs when I take off my bra. i have hug my self for few seconds to ease the pain. I have also noticed that my lips go very dry, no matter how much of lip balm i use. Sometimes the skin over the lip hurt so badly, it is kinda burn marks or something like that. My sleep pattern changes and I don't get sleep till 6 in the morning. I spoke to my doc, she says it happens due to harmonal changes, but it never happened to me bfr. then why now. Is there something weird going on in my body or is it normal. Although i can understand the breast pain, but why does the lips go dry. please answer coz it is that time of the month for me and I am going through a lot pain due to my extreme dry lips.

It is normal to have some breast tenderness during the mentural cycle. It also depends to age sometimes. Also you haven't mentioned if you drink too much of caffeine related products, as this can also cause a lot of breast tenderness. Also we tend to experience a lot of mood swings and harmonal changes during this period, which may cause a change in sleeping habit. You shud consult a doctor to get a harmone test done. it really helps to determine, if these problems you are facing are harmone related or something lese. Also keep in mind that if your drink coffee or tea or any caffeine related product, then that can keep up too. For sleep try to get to bed at the earliest signs of sleep. Try to minimise on caffeine, it can be harmful otherwise too. as for the lips, since you body is throwing out lot of fluid, you need to drink plenty of water and keep you whole body moisturised. try using cocnut oil, which can be found in indian store or any bug grocery store. apply that to you lips. I know it would taste bad, but Hey if you want to solve your problem, you will have to do it. if not keep your lips moisturised all the time. TRy wearing loose clothes at ome. you are at your home and you don't have to inhibit yourself from staying w/o bra at home. you can wear those self bra camis and not wear any tight clothes. These are all my remedies that i have tried on myself, you can't have more sex just because you have to get rid of this problem. Try to eat healthy and follow a healthy regime and you will notice the differnec. Also some birth low dose birth control pills have harmones that help women during these days. If you want you can take these after consulting your doc.

Good luck

Just keep a balanced and healthy diet during your menstrual period and drink at least 1 litres of water everyday to replenish the lost fluid. Exercise sufficiently (not too vigorous sports) which can help a lot with your sleep. You tend to sleep easily after doing exercises. If you feel pain in your breasts, try to wear loose fitting bras or sports bra so that the tightness is lessened during the menstrual period.

You doctor is correct Dear: Your body goes through a hormonal imbalance during this period. Some women have it worse than others. Maybe your doctor can give you some advice on what you can take during this period rather than let you suffer for these few days. It's uncomfortable;e but, it only last for a few days.
Off the shelf med. are a boom to some women, if you find out what's right for you. Talk to your friends see what they take. Try it. Good luck.

I go throught the same thing every month. We women have it bad. :-D. You may suffer with PMS and you may need to speak to your dr. about that.

My breast get sore too and during that time of the month I have to sleep in my bra. All I can tell you is drink lots of water and you may want to take a diuretic pill. Also vitamins. You'll feel alot better.

Try homoeopahic remedies if you like. There are some particular remedies like Lachesis, Nat mur, Puls which can help you overcome your symptoms. Else it would be better if you visit your local Homoeopath for your Constitutional Remedy. Regards.
