samurai x reflection - but i think mostly that was because my then boyfriend (we're married now) was in the middle east when i saw it - yeah, i don't watch that one when he's gone.

Eureka 7 the last episodo, and Last Exile when Moran got shoot and it looked like he had died. Also Naruto when Rock Lee is told that an operation that could help him become a ninja agian only has a 50/50 chanse of working and he could most likliy die. He was very heart broken and even Gai didn't know what to say and how to help him, and to make things wores he begans to remeber all the hard work he did to get to were he was then and now he can even stand up right..............it was sad

I cried when Nuriko, Chiriko, Mitsukake and Hotohori died in Fushigi Yugi... Also, when Boushin wasn't able to hug Hotohori...
In Naruto, Gaara's past... I was so affected by it... Itr was so sad...
I also cried in AYASHINO CERES... where Chidori, I think... died...
Beyblade G-Revolution... when I thought Kai died because he was badly injured...
Yu Yu Hakusho... When Genkai died...
Yu gi oh!.. The ending... Where Atemu aka Yami Yugi had to leave... Well, not really cried but I got teary eyed...

for me it's Grave of the Fireflies (in Japanese with sub)
in my humble opinion, this movie is one of the "classics". a "must see" movie. It's so moving and highly realism... maybe due to the fact that it was based on semi-autobiography.
i love how they portray Seita and Setsuko and their will to carry on through their losses and their struggle to survive with only each other to hold on to.
Felt the pang of poignant... and at the same time being in awed as i've been geniously brought to feel the effect of the war (during WW2) to the innocent citizen through it's art, it's story and it's melancholy theme throughout the movie.
The most heartwrenching scene for me is the one throughout the end where they showed pictures of Setsuko playing around happily @ their makeshift home with "home sweet home" played on as the background music.... and i was already drenched in tears when they showed Seita carrying a basket with her lil sis in it... to be cremated..... *sigh* this is truly a sad and memorable story.

Mine is Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny because is a war and many people died. And Tsubasa Chronicles because when Sakura woke up and didn't know Syaoran anymore.
