every single material thing has gravitational force. down to the smallest atom. this is part of what keeps materials together. this is necessary to keep order or else the sea would roam aimlessly in the atmosphere, fish of course would follow and where they survived we would be drowned and vice versa. nothing could have happened without it.

now the basical rule is, that the bigger the thing the more of this force it has; this follows because the object would have more atoms/mass, if its large but has little mass then it'd have less gravity...

the more mass there is, the more pull it has therefore the earth would have quite a bit compared to the things in it whereas a planet the size of jupiter might have had a lot more than it does, if it wasn't gaseous. Then again the sun is doing fine & there's not much 'land' on it!

if you subscribe you'll put it all down to Him. If not, then only evolution might satisfy the claim

Gravitation is generated because of the giant mass of a planet or a moon or any major heavenly body. The amount of gravitational pull is determined on the size,or mass of the this body underneath your feet. The weight we measure on our bodies is directly proportionate to the mass planet earth has under our feet. If you were to weigh yourself on the moon which has much less mass than earth, you would weigh considerably less. And if you were to weigh yourself on a larger planet like Uranus,or Neptune you would weigh considerably more.
The planets all have magnetic poles to the north and south of its axis. Along with its giant mass and magnetic poles, loose things like rocks and water, and people are able to stay on the surface and not go flying off into space.

The mutual attraction between objects that have mass.According to Einstein s General Theory the mutual attraction is the result of the curving of space and time around them.Just like the physical attraction between two people.
