It's better to follow what's important of course because if each of us followed what they wanted only we will never meet each other or agree. That goes if we have different needs or even if we have similar ones because if we have different needs we would not agree and if we have similar needs we would fight over scarce stuff.

I think is good to follow what is correct. Not always what we want is good for you or for the others. And not always what is important for you is important for the others.
Wisdom always help in those cases. What does the rest of the world would say is correct?
"Is it correct to get married with an almost unknown from the other side of the planet? If there is real love... why not." but "real love" is a concept not all people knows about.
Some one said "Love and make whatever you want". And it means that if you love you will not harm others.
What really means "what's important"?you must know first "important for whom?".

What is important will always come first, as what is important tends to also be what you want as its important to you, but again this reaaly depends on what issue this is...as there is also common sence to think about and right and wrongs as you could have a general thing in mind or be talking about something very evil.

You have to prioritize. Start with the most important thing and work down from there. Unfortunately. you should probably take care of what's important first then deal with what you want. It's the way life works.

It depends on what you want and what is important to you. If you want money and it is of the utmost importance to you - then go for it. If you don't go for what is important to you, you will never be content.
