PS3 is by far the most powerful machine however the Wii is excellent. Have you played the free set of games that you get with a Wii? The Boxing, Golf etc. Those free games are awsome you can play them for hours on end.

New Zelda game has the potential to be the greatest game ever made so there are some massive plus points for the Nintendo Wii

The controlls; the remote and the Nunchuk. It's going to be tricky to learn, but once you've got it? It's going to be wiild! I mean I could buy it if only to play "The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess"... I know I can hardly wait! And it none of this appeals to you; Wii is going to be way more interactive, since it's practically made to be played by several people. And it's small, roughly the size of three DVD boxes stacked on each other. I think that GameCube was the worst thing Nintendo has ever done, and I think that's why people are so unwilling to believe that Wii will be anything but ordinary. I'll get it and it's going to be awesome!

The controller, which is a two-sided issue: it can be either a source of innovation or yet another gimmick. Only time will tell.

If you like Nintendo games, well... that's self-explanatory.

There's the Virtual Console too. Okay, Xbox has Live Arcade and PS3 is getting something like that as well, but I don't think you'll be able to play Nes/Snes stuff on the last two.

its going to be the best nintendo system ever. there are several write ups on it throughout the internet, but i found a good one on www.wifitournament.com - from what i understand the ps3 is as loud as a 747 jet taking off and about the size of a mini fridge. those may be some things to consider when buying wii vs. ps3 or xbox
