this government-induced jet lag by needlessly screwing with our clocks (AZ and HI excepted)?

It is still dark when I leave and dark when I get home. I would rather have the hour back at the end. I could at least take out the garbage that way.

I'm not really suffering from it, no, because "We Never Sleep". Where I am, the daylight savings thing makes it lighter out for a while in the mornings, which I love, but I don't really see the point to it anymore. Wasn't it originally intended for farmers to have more time for their harvest or something? In this day and age I don't know why they'd need it, but then again, I am not a farmer. I suppose it all boils down to the fact that the US is just weird like that.

i know what you mean...it gets dark at 6 p.m. and i always feel sleepy whenever it gets dark out. by the way, in northern az...the four corners area, they do change their clocks cuz it's a different time zone up there.
