The "Halloween" movies with Michael Mires, they've chilled me to the bone ever since I was a young child!
I also liked the new version of "The Omen," and an older movie from 1982 called "Amityville II, The Possession," it's kind of prequel to the main Amityville movie (that was just remade last year). The Jason movies are always classics too. Oh, watch "The Others," it's a psychological thriller!

To be honest, most of the modern horror films are pretty rubbish, and dont really do much to make me scared.
But I was watching E4 last Saturday and they had a run-down of the top 100 scary films or something, and man, I think some of those would really freak me out. They showed clips of the Evil Dead and The Thing - I was scared watching the clips, I cant imagine what the whole film must be like.

i love loads of different horror movies, but if u are wanting one that really plays with your mind, try watching the original version of The Ring. the original is japanese, so u have to watch it with subtitles (unless u can understand japenese !). i'm not a huge fan of movies with subtitles, but this one is well worth it, and soooooo much better than the rececnt hollywood version of it. i think the japenese version of it is called 'Ringu', or something like that, but i'm sure u could track it down on the internet.

I'd have to say the first Chucky movie...was it called Childsplay? I watched it when I was 10 years old and I'm still having nightmares now! :-(

My favorite would probably be "Hallowe'en H20" starring Jamie Lee Curtis, although I also like "It" written by Stephen King.
