I have Kazakhstani friend who lend money to start up business.. no problem..

You must meet him in Baku and carry small package for him to Heathrow... then take last taxi in queue... Sami the driver will then give you your money and take package from you...

Big smiles we make happy friendship and long time big love-in...

Let me know if you need tank, guns or motorised sled... I love the West it is super great capitalism freedom and happy vote for all

Get a job first, then go to your local Citizens advice and see if there's a small business initiative in your area. They do low cost or free courses to teach you how to set up and run a small business.
With a child you'll be a lot better off working because of tax credits. Join the local credit union if you have one and save a small amount every month. Eventually you'll have built up enough credit for a loan and you can't borrow more money than you have in shares so you're not actually in debt. If you don't repay they just reclaim your shares.
Think small when you start up and keep the amount you need to start your business down to an absolute minimum.
There are also books in the local library about how to start up in business, but they're no replacement for the course. Make a start with reading them.
Also see what help is available from the job center on getting back to work, there might be some courses you can join to learn interview techniques.
