Is SP77 autopilot on a B737/200 with one ADC capable on handling RVSM and ACAS II demands?

The short answer is yes and no. Although the SP77 was a tremendous leap forward for its time, a single ADC could handle RVSM. ACAS II put the SP77 out of it's league...as evidenced by Southwest retiring all of its 732's recently. The 737/900 is awesome...look at the autopilot on that one...and it's fully integrated into the EFIS.
