I recall that I have wished that someone stops or is made to stop singing was when Shabbir Kumar came on the horizon (he was bearable only in Betaab). Since then Himesh Reshmiyaa has got that honour. The man sounds the same be it a energetic or a sad song or any other mood. The trouble is that he himself is a musician, so even if other music directors stop him singing for them, he can always torture with his music videos or with the his directed film music. He is more bearable as a music director though. His songs in the name of Sufi music is a real torture. He is slightly better than one song Hawa Hawa wonder (Pakistani singer). And if Himesh is rated at scale 1, Kumar Shanu would be at level 10. So one can imagine the kind of torture this man is inflicting.

It was good before he came. Atleast we were getting some varieties. But after he landed he stirred up a hornets nest. It has come to a level to ask "is music so bland?"... Whenever i switch on the TV to a hindi music channel i see only a depressed looking guy losing out to a gal and etc etc with "oooooooooooooooooooo" in the song in high pitch.. GOD SAVE INDIAN MUSIC. Lets pray he composes different varieties. His music is like a thriller. A shudder runs through u every time u hear his song (i mean the same music in all his songs). Only this shudder is in a negative sense. I am not critisizing his talent but if the same type of music is coming in many of his so called hit songs it leaves his talent in question.

He is talented. No question about it. But, all his songs have same words, same meanings. They only have a peppy tune, and a catch phrase. Other than that, everything is just trash. Even the lyrics writer of all his songs is a dumb fellow, who does not even know the meaning of words he is using in the lyrics. In "Aap ki kashish," how can kashish be sarfarosh. Kashish or attraction for something can only make a person sarfarosh. Whilst Aap ka Nasha Yoon Mad-hosh hai. A person under nasha is madhosh, nasha cannot be mad-hosh.

Himesh Rocks! He really has given new life to the music of Our generation. our parents had their Mukesh, and Rafi, (no disrespect intended) We got Himesh.. he is so good at what he does that him coming into the industry like this is like when in the beginning bathing suits were allowed to be seen in movies. there was chaos. everybody knew that we are able to see bathing suits in movies, we are able to see kissing in movies. Just the same, everybody knows himesh. One cannont ignore him or his voice. and for all those who dislike nasal singing, he gets his inspiration from the world famous Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. And noone had as much soul in singing as Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. thankyou

He compose well, but renders very bad. remeber a guy named Altaf Raja of Tu Tu Thehre Pardesi song. Himesh will go the same way after a year or so.

At first "ashiq banaaya...... " song was mindblowing. But later on people are tired of hearing the same nassal voice, the same beats and the same tunes! Now its enough of him. I think he should stop singing now and should concentrate on his main job i.e., a job of every music director because now his every song sounds same to me. And no HIMESH can change Indian music with a cap on and mike in his hand!!!!!!!!!!!
All that sweetness of Indain music has lost because of this nassal guy.

He is perfect...turn out to be boon for bollywood music....definately much better than plagiarism guy (Anu Malik)....the most annoying music of the year Jaane Maan.."Lage Rahoo Himesh". However suggestion is that concentrate much towards composing music rather than singing...

All his songs sound like they are a part of the same album or movie. Or better/worse all one has to do is listen to one song of his and you have heard all his songs.
The other downside is you have to see him in all the videos of his songs. He is like one of those irritating commercials/advertisements which make sure that you don't buy the product because it keeps bothering you in between your favorite television show.
