Harry potter books are more better than the movies , coz in movies film makers cannot show each and every detail in a limited time...but as far as book is concerned ,this one holds u till u have finished the whole book and the desire to read next one autmatically arises and the most important point is that it is easy to understand ...I am not telling that it is the best book but watever books i have read till now this is the best series book.......

Not even close. They are a great contribution to the reading world. I really liked them and I'm 37. Also, they have introduced a whole new generation to the pleasure of reading. My local book merchant told me that kids will come in and say ok I read Harry Potter, what else is there. That reason alone makes them great.

I must say, as an English degree student, I have read all the HP books and thoroughly enjoyed them. They are totally escapism from a world that can sometimes be dull, dreary and unpleasant. My kids enjoyed the films but to really 'get' HP and his life, you need to read the books. I wouldn't say they are the MOST interesting story books on earth but they certainly are a lot of fun for adults and children alike!

I think so! These are the best books. I love them. I admire J.K.Rowling! The bad thing is that there are only seven books. I really loved the 5th and 6th. THe films are very good but there are some differences between them and the books. However, they're the best and They're really my favourite books and films.

i love reading harry potter even though i'm 17 years old. i also love watching harry movies. I just think it's really amazing how one person can imagine and write something as vast and fascinating as a wizarding world.

people dont get to make-up those kind of stories everyday you know. creating a whole world with diffrent creatures with different capabilities is something.

creating magical histories and spells are very hard. making different names and people is just as hard... :))

Well, I sort of think differently...I like to watch the movies, however, I am sort of lazy...Therefore, I don't read the books. Sadly, in the movies, the cut off lots of the parts of the story.
Sometimes, I feel the way you do as their books are really thick and hard to read!

woah no contest Harry Potter is much better effective JK Rowling's plot is a hellufalot better concept out, each and every little element suits in and the underlying message of love and sacrifice is suited. Twilight is a e book that appeals to teenage female's experience of elect for the "suited" guy. distinctly because Edward falls in love with a woman that's carefully ordinary. actual i imagine the in hardship-free words strong personality contained in the sequence is Jacob. Edward is fairly gross to me, too self blaming and infrequently believes Bella even as she says she loves him AND he left her. Edit: I completely agree that Rowling do not have any Mary Sue characters, she extremely placed alot into the sequence and also you may want to work out how a lot artwork and concept develop into contained in the sequence. Twilight also has a lack of strong aspects, I propose god, what percentage cases are you able to describe Edward's eyes as "amber" or "Golden" ? also, if I ever have babies i will cause them to examine Harry Potter (despite the undeniable fact that I probable gained't ought to cause them to examine it, they are going to elect to!)
