If someone is "trying to marry" there can be different reasons. Varies from person to person. Some look for a stable one-to-one committed relationship, some look for physical attraction and sex, some look for financial benefits, some look for social status, some look for security and comfort. If you wanted to know WHY people should get married, family is the basic unit of society. For survival of the human race, marriage is the institution that humans have invented from time immemorial, for procreation and for sexual gratification.
