I used to be an avid fan of Titanic when it was released. My favourite part was (and still is) the ending when Rose passes and her sprit goes back to Titanic. However, having also got the 2 soundtracks to the film, I cannot find the music playing during that moment. It's the best music throughout the entire film, and it's not on the soundtrack. Can you help me?

rose died at the end she was over 100 years old. that is why you see her young again when she meets up with jack in heaven..the reason Cameron did not answer this question is because it is so obvious. the music at the end when she dies is "My heart will go on"

I believe it is an instrumental variation on "My Heart Will Go On," the main theme of the film.

You are interpreting this as her death scene, which is open to interpretation. I see it pretty much the same way, but it isn't really made clear whether this is a death scene or a dream sequence, and James Cameron, when questioned about it, left the question open.
