I wholeheartedly beileve in ghosts in general, as I've had a few strange experiences...
And yes, I believe in friendly ghosts - here's what happened to me a week ago...
My son has been saying, since we moved into our house, that he has a friend who lives in our guest room, and thats why he likes to play there - his friend always wants to play cars because he doesn't have any toys himself. I thought it may just be an imaginary friend, but I must admit, I get a warm feeling when I go into that room...
A week ago, I found out that part of my house was built on one of the first known cemeterys of the town where I live - the part built over the cemetery including the spare room and my patio...
I'm beginning to believe that my son is playing with a friendly child spirit - the room has such a nice feeling to it...

Yes why is it that ghosts are always seen to be bad? There must be happy ones too surely

Well, not so much friendly, but rather, 'harmless' spirits.
Although you wouldn't like to come across even those, as they are easily manipulated by malevolent spirits (sometimes also refered to as 'demons').
However, these 'harmless' spirits tend to stay 'dormant' unless something takes place to dramatically disturb their place, i.e. a renovation or something.

i believe in ghosts. and i believe they're not all scary and evil as widely believed by the masses. hahaha
