Torchwood has a more adult theme and is therefore more suitable for the evening timeslot and I think it's great, but I have a sneaking fancy for Doctor Who. It still has some of that behind the couch innocence I felt when I first saw William Hartnell and the Daleks in Black and White back in the early 1960's!

I think it's too early to say. TW definitely has potential and that Gwen looks cute! DW is far and away much better anyway in terms of stories, effects and acting. We had Rose and now there's the v. cute Martha on the way. Happy Days!

Right now i'd rather watch Torchwood as the last series of Dr Who didn't hook me in like the previous(I enjoyed Eccleston better, sorry). We'll see how it goes though.

Dr Who is the best so far torchwood has sucked but next weeks look good think it got cyber men in it.

They are aimed at totally different audiences. Whenn Im sat with my son I enjoy Dr Who better but when with my partner I love Torchwood. If I was on my own I would watch .....er.....Torchwood I spose!

for me it has to be doctor who. they had the chance to make torchwood a great adult show but seem to have wasred it on cheap scripts bad acting bit too much welsh accent sorry if that offends but too much of anything is bad
