usually it takes up to 72 hours to live. it could be. after 10 days that you ovulate you can check with a home pregnancy test. Good luck

Are you absolutely sure you have ovulated? How do you monitor it? Just as some women can have cycles where they don't ovulate on occasion, some women can have cycles where they ovulate twice on occasion. 8 days is a little early for a mature egg but then some women have very very short cycles where releasing an egg on day 8 is normal. In a way, I'm afraid, its impossible to say.
I would keep monitoring your cycle all the way through, just in case you normally don't - lots of women stop once they have ovulated - just in case you are going to ovulate twice this cycle.
If the early release becomes the norm then please go see your GP as it means your hormones have begun to do something funny.

an egg can mature even if you are menstruating. that is why some women get pregnant when they have sex on their menstruation day. this is an illegular menstruation cirlce , other wise start counting from day 5 of your last menstruation, than again count off eight days which you are free to make sex without getting pregnant, than after eight days, count off 10 days of which the egg is matured and should not have sex other wise. after 10 days, you are free to have sex again as you are about to start the next menstrual circle
