You can miss your period longer then that and take a pregnancy test and it will read negative. Every female's body is different in so many ways, and some things happen to us for different reasons. Your body's hormones could be functioning in different ways and caused your period to be pushed back. If you are on certain types of birth controls it can sometimes cause irregular cycles. Me, myself I have a condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and sometimes I go months without a period, and when I did research about it, it stated that sometimes it causes you to miss your period. It also said that there is a possibility that I will be unable to have children, but there is always a chance that I may. So whenever I miss my period I test myself, because I know that I am sexually active. So anytime that you do miss your period it is a good idea to test yourself anyway. I was good sharing this information with you.

Yes, it is very possible to miss your period for even an extended length of time and not be pregnant. The reasons can include extra stress in your life, or possibly some kind of hormone imbalance.
If you do not start your period soon, I would recommend you make an appointment with your doctor. You doctor will be able to determine what is wrong. It could be a sign of a more serious condition, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Good luck!

It is both possible to test 6 days late and not be pregnant due to stress and to be pregnant and for it not to be showing up. If your period hasn't shown up in another 3-4 days, test again and if still negative and your period isn't usually that late, then go see your doctor. They can test more accurately for pregnancy hormones.

Of course it is. To be on the safe side wait a few weeks and re-test, in some people the pregnancy hormone does not register early. On the other side periods are strange things and not every woman is as regular as clockwork, I certantly am not.

Home pregnancy tests can show a false negative result. Therefore, if the urine test comes out negative you should call your doctor and schedule a blood test. You could be pregnant.

Yes, It could be stress... Evaluate your surroundings and see if there's anything that you've been excessively concerned with. But if you think there's a possibility of pregnancy wait another week and try to test again, or see a Dr...
