The people who wrote that music definitely aren't giving it away for free at this point. If you find it for free, you're stealing it. And whoever provided it to you can be sued. I suppose memorizing the song and playing it by ear could be considered a "fair use" exception to the composers' copyright. Unless you performed it publicly. Then you're still stealing.

usually you have to have a special license to do that kind of stuff. Talk to the band director at school, you might have to pay and sometimes music can cost up to 80$ per song.
