Jeter should not win it.
I think Frank Thomas meant more for his team than Jeter did to the yankees.
I think Morneau and Mauer were more valuable to their team.
Jeter did great, but come on, if making the playoffs matter (which is pretty well accepted it does) surely the fact that Jeter has Damon hitting in front of him, and giambi, a-rod, sheffeld, or whoever behind him matters too.
Who did Frank Thomas get protection from?
Jeter had a great year, his best, but I do think he was the most valuable player for the league.
Honestly, even Papi is more valuable to boston, what would Boston be without Big Papi? probably Kansas.

I know how easy it is to vote for Jeter, But he does has help around him, unlike that of any other canidate. Id vote for Jermaine Dye.
