I'm so sick of these idiotic 9/11 conspiracy theories. The buildings collapsed because some savages crashed airplanes, loaded with fuel, into the two towers. I saw the hole in the north side of the North Tower from my Midtown office. Anyone who has done the slightest bit of research knows how the Twin Towers were uniquely constructed. The structures' support was from the frame of the buildings, thereby creating more space on the floors which would otherwise have been cluttered with support beams. Unfortunately, the interior structures could not support the burden caused by the compromised frames as a result of the crashed planes, so the towers collapsed. 9/11 happened because of failed US foreign policy, bureaucratic ineptitude, and ignorance. I hold both the Clinton and Bush administrations (and prior administrations) equally responsible. I oppose the war in Iraq and the Bush administration. But these conspiracy theories are absurd. 9/11 conspiracy people: Please dispense with these useless, dopey, and hurtful allegations and move onto something productive. (I'd love to see these conspiracy people spout their outrageous assertions in any New York City firehouse, police station, or homes of the victims' families!)

Bush didn't allow these people to be murdered. If Clinton had done his job when the USS Cole was bombed, I doubt that 9/11 would have occurred at all.

he didn't allow it he had no control over it just like he has not control in winning the war on terrorism. There are too many out there from different countries planted all around the world. It's just one of those things that happened while he was in office. It's a been building from before bush and clinton these people have been at war with us and everybody else for a very long time.

In my opinion, "GWB" allowed this to happen so people would be afraid. Once you have a large group of people afraid, you can get them to support you. For what? Well, the people want to put a stop to terrorism. Great! This gives "GWB" a reason to invade a country full of oil, take it over, made a profit, without anyone questioning it. If you do question it, you are "Anti-American", and people will shun you. Remember everyone; IN MY OPINION

Don't forget the 3000+ since 9/11 and the 665,000 Iraqis not to mention supporting Israel during the recent Illegal war on the civilians of Lebanon.
So him and his could maintain control of a frightened population.

They are right, he probably didn't have much control, he may just be a puppet to his administration. Wasn't he in Texas rather than @ D.C? wait, what was that i heard about the security @ the airport around the same time those planes boarded? did the buildings crumble from top to bottom? . . . is it just me or did they also seem to begin to crumble from the bottom, as if there might be implanted bombs? Please correct me if I am wrong, I truly hate to believe in fictional stuff, some what like all the lies media seems to feed our children and us.
I'ts funny because many nights I go to bed thinking of possible reasons, Why?

I don' think he allowed it other than to have failed to have placed more attention on the terrorist threat. However, since 9-11 he has consistently used the attack to justify the importance of maintaining his presidency and allowing him to ignore both international law and the laws of our own country to implement policies that are anything but American. He justifies torture, invasion of our privacy, and a host of other things in the name of fighting terrorist. He's managed to make us much less safe rather than safer.

He didn't. What was he supposed to do, even if there HAD been explicit prior warning (which there wasn't!), shut down all the airlines? Declare martial law? Suspend ALL transportation?
Sure, that wouldn't have upset anyone!

Ah , you have been watching Loose Change , haven't you ?
It is very questionable to me about some of the things that happend and , makes me question the integrety of our own government being somehow responsible for such an act of terror
i am confused about the whole ordeal myself , !
you just never know why people do the things they do !
but i do think if it was pre-meditated it has been in the works for a very long time ,
if you haven't watched lose change , you should , you can pull it up on the net ,

good question ... and why has there not been more govt interest in investigating the causes of steel-framed building collapses and the largest single loss of life in the united states since the civil war .... why the lack of interest? And also why were there over 1000 so-called terrorists that were connected with the perpetrators rounded up after 911 and 1 year later there were only 6 still held and NONE charged with anything? ... and why are we bombing and killing iraqis when the states that are the most connected to the terrorists are saudi arabia and pakistan? ...
