Not entirely sure I understand the question. Ovulation is usually midpoint between periods (14 days before the next period.) It is when the ovum (egg) bursts from the ovary. No there is not bleeding at ovulation (as it effects the ovaries, not the uterus) although some women my experience "spotting" through out their cycle.

Speaking as an OB-GYN, normally, you shouldn't bleed during your ovulation period. One thing though that you may experience (but not all the time) is the mid cyle tummy pain that goes with it (it's called mittelschmerz in medical parlance). If you experience any bleeding/ spotting in between your monthly cycles, meaning the days that you do not expect to menstruate, then i advise that you seek consult with an OB-GYN doctor to further evaluate your condition. Hope this helps.
