Both of us are working . So i want a board which does not make the child totally dependent on the parent. Also it should support extra corricular activities. I don't want my child to be a bookworm

Well, it depends upon the kind of school you are putting your son into. Some schools know exactly how to balance studies as well as extra curricular activities in a student's life. While there are some school that do not emphasize on extra activities.
Talk to more people.. and try to learn more about the schools in your neighbourhood. Other parents may be able to advice you on which one is the best school in your state.

CBSE and ICSE are one of the most famous boards in India. I have studied under CBSE and it's really good. You are able to face the competitive world well once you are out of Class 12.

go for cbse
