This might sound odd or disguting...but it possible for anyone to know if a girl has had sex by looking at her vagina? If yes, whats the duration for which it can be determined?

No way to tell, you can't actually see the hymen with out GYN tools. They have to take our word for it, just like we have to take theres', that's why people shouldn't have sex with anyone they don't trust.
If you mean how to tell if a girl has had sex recently also not possible unless you know what she usually smells like and she hasn't taken a shower abd you smell her, but people can smell so different just from changing what they eat a little it's really now possible to be accurate. On the other hand, this should not ba an excuse for anyone, male or female to cheat.
It would be difficult even for a GYN to tell because the hymen can be broken by many things and it's not something that just hangs torn when it breaks, some girls are born without one all together.

You can't tell if a girl has had sex based on a broken hymen. They break for all kinds of reasons. If you actually give a dam about this, you need some counseling. If it's important to you, just ask her. If she has and she lies to you, then it means she's as much in need of counseling as you are. It's not important. Seriously, it's not important.

they could tell that u have been penetrated but to pin point whether u had sex and how much ? no.
some girls could rapture their hymen by riding a bike so only the girl could answer the accurate truth.

I don't think so, I told my boyfriend I was and he believed me.Go figure a girl can just make it seem like it hurts more then it does.

i have no idea. maybe if they know what a hymnen looks like and if you can see if that is torn. but that can be torn riding a bike! you don't have to have sex to tear your hymnen and 'loose your virginity'.
