It all comes back to the Beatles and the Stones.
I guess you could say that they go back to Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Muddy Waters which go back to Robert Johnson, Blind Lemon, etc.
But for all intensive purposes, Beatles and Stones make up a large part of a healthy musical diet.
