Absolutely!!!! My Mother sang and danced at Radio City Music Hall.....I danced in Japan...Hawaiian dancing....5 of us out of a cattle call...She was a Journalist majour...I am a Writer....and yes published....though not famous....done a LOT of editing.....some of which I haven't recieved credit for...at the time it didn't matter...now it does....as there is so much.. I sequenced a double multi platinum R&R album.(Still being bought BTW)....having been in the studio for the album'smaking. I have an edge.....an attribute from both parents...can find humour in most anything. I am off the charts I research and love working behind the scenes.....however I accept the credit as it is sense to hold fast this to my heart....and accept it. I am gifted and give thanks for my abilities to write, illustrate, edit....communication being paramount.
My three brothers had a comedy troupe in Las Vegas and fate stepped in...to their raunchy humour...on a Visa commercial ....a real WIN !!!
In essence....yes is the answer!!!! Sometimes it takes a while and a questin like this to bring it to light...so Thank You!!!!!!

In my immediate family
Dad had talents concerning "the deal"--could come up with a business thing out of nothing more than a pickup load of junk !!
With my Mom--no one ever did a kitchen the way this woman did--could feed the multitudes on loaves and fishes !!
My middle sister has always been a social animal and could get herself into an exclusive "invitation only" event like magic with nothing more than words !!
My eldest sister can make music on anything that has the ability to make a sound--she excels in the piano and organ and can play almost anything after hearing it once !!
Myself-- I do photographs--have won a number of awards for my work on state and regional level
Outside of the immediate end of the family however--the curve is completely gone-- with most of my family hardly able to carry on a conversation without locking down--- So-- who knows what all that means-- ???--

There are eight in the immediate family; all over 45 years of age. Six are professionally in hard sciences; two are in creative occupations. Does that help?

Gosh no, it started with my generation though. i say that because I'm 17 and i have a cousin my age, we are very creative and open minded compared to the rest of the the family.

Unfortunately it seems to have blown past _me_.
I have extremely irritating relatives I rarely see and almost never speak with. Accomplished authors, artists, musicians, and the like. Many have won awards and/or sold their talents for a very nice price. A few have even had things named for them... streets, statues and such. Extremely annoying.

Yes! I am artistic, my Mom and both my brothers are musical, my Dad can do woodworking and my wife does scrap-booking.
