A yawn is your diaphragm demanding more oxygen. By taking a deep breathe, you saturate your lungs with oxygen. Since oxygen is so important, the priority is passed to your subconscious. When someone yawns, it reminds us "subconsciously" to take a deep breathe. Our body mimics many other human responses in order to maintain it's health cycle. Why does everyone always have to go to the bathroom at the same time? Someones good idea becomes everyone's good idea.

According to my maths sir a person yawns when his body starts going to sleep and he needs more oxygen supply.
So whenever we see a person yawning there is a natural instinct inside our brain which thinks that the person who is yawning is taking in our extra air and because of him taking in the air we will have a deficiency of air.So we also start yawing.
So in a way we compete with the person yawning and snatch our share of air!!!!!!!!
This concept is kinda funny but doesnt it totally make sense?
