If you really can't control yourself, get out of China. Over there alcoholism is not considered a problem (in fact it's considered a rite of passage) so you won't get any help kicking the habit.
If you can't go, control your purse string. Send all spare money to foreign banks leaving behind only enough for daily expenses. For me, I sent all my dough to my dad for safekeeping. The result: No money, no booze.
If you're lonely, get a girlfriend. Not being funny, sarcastic or anything, but that's how I kicked my loneliness. Hey it's just human nature to want companionship, specially so if you're lonely in the most populous country in the world. Plus having a girlfriend gives you the perfect excuse to refuse any invitations which almost always leads to alcohol.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.

It's exactly the same here.
Besides the AA part..
AA wouldn't help anyway if it's your friends who are fueling your problem. To stop drinking first and foremost you either need to find new people to hang out with, or somehow get them to see you have a serious problem and get the m to support you and stop offering you drinks.
No doubt your drinking is a problem but are you actually an alcoholic? Do you do it on your own or only around friends? It may be as simple as cutting them out and finding something to occupy your time with, making new friends.
I'm not sure what I can tell you about self control, even with support groups, will power is totally up to you. But it can be done..

Try NA, alcohol is a drug. E-mail me any time you want to talk. You can access the website for either program of recovery. I'll pray for your welfare in dealing with alcoholism. Remember that all you need to admit is that you have a problem that you cannot deal with alone. The rooms of NA provide an atmosphere of understanding and empathy for any person who suffers from addiction. You don't have to be eating out of trash cans or sticking needles in your arms to be helped by NA. If NA is all that is available, then go with it man, it's your life that is on the line.

It's not rude to say no. I'm sure your friends would understand if you explained it to them that you want to quit.
You are much more likely to smoke and drink in social situations so try to avoid putting yourself in these situations.
Be strong and good luck.
