We have *four* time zones in the continental U.S. - Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific, or -5, -6, -7, and -8 GMT, respectively.

And then there is Alaska, which is -9. And all the way out in the Pacific is Hawaii at -10!

So the U.S. has six different time zones.
