Well Delhi is place where you can find anything to eat from Chinese, Labanese, Thai to Mughlai etc. My personal favorites are:
1. QBA - Connaught Place (Near Indian Coffee House)
2. Gulati's - Pandara Road
3. Turqiouse Cottage - Mehrauli

I'm not sure cause i haven't been there. But what i would like to do whenever i travel is be adventurous cause you can't expect to get the kind of food you like specially when your away from home. If you are not so confident with i.e, cleanliness and stuff like that, ask the cab driver or the hotel staff. You sure won't be disappointed.
