I live on a military base so I get information here from military newspapers and their websites. I go on other websites and keep up with the news everyday. I also talk to my daughter who is in Iraq right now; even though they can't really say a whole lot. We need to be there to help these people and it also is helping our country, too; against terrorism.

I'm for the war, but against how the US managed the aftermath. There are a lot of people forming opinions about the war around the world who are not familiar with some fundamental histories and facts about the middle east. Since the Iran-Iraq war ended Iraq has been immensely popular in the Arab world as a source of pan-Arabic pride. Having defended the sovereignty of Sunni Arabs from the She-it Persians of Iran. But alas for the west a large problem. A huge country with vast oil fields able to turn the world market on its head, a volatile and paranoid leader with the capability and will to use unconventional weapons when he wished. All a recipe for instability, and a potential lifeline for terror groups. The US was right to assert that a free and peacefully Iraq would serve as a golden example to the Arab world that the US war on terror would help both the US and Arabs alike. But they were wrong in thinking that they had any margin of error to work with in regards to Arab pride, and Iraqi patients. Their lack of a post game plane to me was embarrassing, and a real dis service to their cause in the middle east. I think it will be years untile global political urgancy will be there to allow another assault on Islamic terror.

Very much for the war effort. I read, research and listen to various world news, but have found that FOX NEWS is the only source that I can trust. Fighting the war on terrorism is ALL about killing terrorists are all over the world, including terrorists in Iraq, the middle east, and wherever they try to hide.
It's also about educating the liberals who would sell this country out for an I-pod, a reality show, or a new car, in a NY Minute because they're so shallow.

Talk to active duty members and read blogs like American Thinker and National Review.
I do not get it from papers or network news (except Fox).
I'm for it. I believe there was a connection between Iraq and 911. I feel today the same way I felt at noon on that day.

I don't depend on any one source. The news is limited and mostly skewed.
My opinion on the war; Very complicated. The need was real ,the enemy is real, the threat is growing,it would have grown faster if we had not gone to war.I don't separate the theaters into different wars it is all one war.I am for it but feel guilty because I am to old to fight and would have probably shot a drill instructor in my younger days.I was planning on joining when I graduated high school but the recruiter kept calling me at my after school job and pissed me off so I never went.

Oh thank you, an easy answer... lol I haven't answered in awhile and tonight, the answers seemed harder than usual.
My one and true source that I have complete faith in is PBS's The Newshour. I do watch others for research but 9 times out of 10 they leave important things out or spin stuff that the Newshour will tell you just the facts on.

Very much against. I read, research and listen to various world news. Fighting the war on terror isn't about killing people in Iraq when terrorists are all over the world, not just the middle east.

I've always been against the war.. I flip through the major news networks, CNN, CBS, fox (I can't stand to be on any of them very long) and I go to yahoo news, message boards and surf the web.
