I don't understand the -2 ≤x≤ 2 part is this question:
For each of the following equations set up and complete a table of values for -2 ≤x≤ 2.
a, y=x+1 (Just as an example)

Thanks. : )

Just substitute x in the equation with -2 and calculate the value of y.
eg. y= -2+1
= -1
Then, substitute x with 2 to get another y.
eg. y= 2+1
= 3
So, you'll get
-1 Hope this helps.
Alternatively, the question wants you to calculate what are values y when -2 So, x=-2, -1, 0, 1, 2
So, when x=-2, y=-1, x=-1, y=0.......etc.

The y-intercept happens while x = 0: y = mx + b y = b so which you have a factor at (0,b). The x-intercept happens while y = 0: 0 = mx + b mx = -b x = -b/m so which you have a factor at (-b/m, 0). From right here, you are able to merely draw a instantly line by using the two factors. in case you do no longer choose to try this, you are able to merely locate between the factors and make a line in the process the factor with the given slope (m).
