I am also an American in Europe and I miss the ability to 1) sucessfully get what I want out of a situation that involves communication 2) having transportation 3) the ability to work 4) my bicycle 5) mexican food and hamburgers

It is 10 years that I have been living in Europe . First in Spain now in Luxembourg. I would have to say my family is what I miss the most! After that 2) Language, 3)The stores being opened on Sundays, 4)How Christmas is celebrated.

As an American in Europe family would be at the top of the list. Then there's Taco Bell...Also sometimes it gets frustrating that things just work "differently". It's not bad, it's just not what you are expecting. There's a lot to love though!
