It's obviously Halloween now, and by legend and myth the veil between our world and the "after world" is thinnest now....
I was wondering if there were any things I could do (that doesn't include sacrifices or candles) for tonight. Like rituals or un-evil spells, lol.
I am a psychic and a Christian, but I do like and respect a lot of other religions and beliefs, including magick-studdying wiccans.
Can anyone help me?

REYNOLDS:
Not all of those things are about Satan. I believe in good and evil, and what I have (my third eye) is not evil. I believe it is a gift from God.
I go to church every Sunday (twice) and once Wednesday.
You have no right or place to tell me all of that.

A lot of it, yes. There are some things I would never do and do not agree with.
But I have alot of beliefs, Jesus is the center of them and the most important.

The simplest thing to do is remember those who have passed. With the veil being thin it is a time for departed souls to once again walk among the living. Do you have a mother, father, child or someone special that has passed? Then let them know by just saying I love you and still remember you.

Sites like Lucky Mojo ( www.luckymojo.com ) offer candle burning services, where they will burn the candles for you if you call and ask, and you are only charged for the candles. They can light blessing candles on your behalf and you can order over the phone for swift service.
Otherwise, a ritual bath may do well. Bathe with camphor soap or some agrimony to cleanse any existing evil on you, or some bay leaves to prevent any evil. You can just make a little packet or even toss some of the herbs into the tub with you for this.
Traditionally, in the bath you use a basin to pour the water over your head 9 times, reciting your prayer each time. Then after you are done with the bath, you take some of the water in the basin and carry it to the nearest crossroads, where you pour it out and then leave without looking back at it.

It is a time for change, and for honouring the dead....leave a place
at the dinner table and offerings outside for the departed this night. The best time for past-life regression and seance.
"Witches were healers then as they are now. Witch simply means 'wise' and modern witches draw their inspiration from living in harmony with nature, following the old ways that go back to the indigenous pre-Christian religions of Europe. Symbolism of Samhain:
Third Harvest, the Dark Mysteries, Rebirth through Death.
Symbols of Samhain:
Gourds, Apples, Black Cats, Jack-O-Lanterns, Besoms.
Herbs of Samhain:
Mugwort, Allspice, Broom, Catnip, Deadly Nightshade, Mandrake, Oak leaves, Sage and Straw.
Foods of Samhain:
Turnips, Apples, Gourds, Nuts, Mulled Wines, Beef, Pork, Poultry.
Incense of Samhain:
Heliotrope, Mint, Nutmeg.
Colors of Samhain:
Black, Orange, White, Silver, Gold.
Stones of Samhain:
All Black Stones, preferably jet or obsidian.
some doing anything with any of these things would be fun. Like carving a pumpkin , cooking a halloween meal, dressing up in the colors, bobbbing for apples, all of these things.

One of my favorite Halloween things comes from a book of modernized Odinism rites, in which you set aside time to discuss and remember those who have passed with your family--even pets. It's simple and completely away from religion--it's simply looking at fall as a season of passing, and remembering those who have passed. It would certainly be appropriate to pray that the memories of these people and the lessons they taught will stay with you always.
Another "typical" celebration counts in the fact that Wiccans consider this the New Year. Again, it's a nice ritual that doesn't require any belief system, and simply calls on very old symbolism. Build a fire--a bonfire, a chimney fire, light the grill, whatever. Enjoy it as you normally would a fire. Take the time to write out bad habits, things you want gone, on paper and throw them into the fire.

The best thing to do on Halloween is to prepare a ritual. Light up 2 white candles and draw a pentagram in the floor. Since you're phycic try to contact spirits. Then thank your guardian spirit, your house spirit the honer all of your lovedones spirits and ask them to watch over you an dyour family. If you feel something evil ask your guardian spirit to make it go away and say out loud-Go away who ever you are! You are not welcome here! Them snif the candle and turn on the lights

will ive been to that point of wiccans but if you want something that you want to do write letters for the dead relative or someone, set an altar and pray for safety. its not evil you dont have to put scary candles. if your family is there with you then you can cook something special and give some to the altar. and most of the time meditate. to relax and calm your soul. most of those are a sign to respect the souls around you and to give no harm to anyone. happy halloween..O_o
