It is very frustrating to say something well and be misunderstood. It is also frustrating to have people constantly suspicious of you because they know you could "outsmart" them, take advantage of them. They assume you will since you can, because they would love to outsmart others. What they do not realize is that honesty really is the best policy: keeps you from making enemies unnecessarily, and brings repeat business. It is irritating when people are forever accusing you of "talking down to them" or "using too many big words" when all you're trying to do is communicate.
So the more intelligence, the more frustration, and the shorter the temper. Have you ever heard the expression "to suffer fools gladly"? We all have to put up with ("suffer") fools, but no way I can do it gladly. How about you?

Often people who are more intelligent have a hard time understanding that not everyone is capable of easily comprehending what we are trying to say, and it is very easy to get irritated when you constantly have to stop and explain what you just said.
