As a long time Boston fan, I feel that their problem with the product they are putting on the ice is a series of very questionable management decisions. Now they are keeping 19 year olds in the AHL (Petr Kalus) that should be sent back to Major Junior to develop properly if they aren't skilled enough to play in the NHL. Actually the present Boston Bruin team is barely a glorified AHL calibre team.

Deffinately bad management. Bad choices, bad trades. Tim Thomas was a surprise. Thornton was a bad move. Raycroft was a bomb, but so was Carrey and Ranford. Dont know how Bourque stayed around for so long, he never had the chance to go all the way. It shows how poor an organization is when they trade away such a Hero to another team so he can win a Stanley Cup. They need to sacrafice a few years like Pittsburgh and build a new team around Bergeron and Chara.

Loyalty. The Bruins keep 2-3 stars to fill the arena and they make a profit. Boycott them.

they will get better just look at buffalo that was my team and they always sucked now look at then. Anyway the team is just to old and big for this new league we watch. That is why buffalo is goo cause they have speed the bruins have none.

Probably because they have made some bad choices in the past and now it's biting them in the rear end. Just a matter of time and they will be ok again. I thought they didn't look too bad in the first period when they played Buffalo earlier this year, then they fell apart midway in the 2nd and all of the 3rd.

Trading Joe Thornton and not getting any of the Sharks young guns didn't help much either, and not having a consistent goaltender among other things.

As long as Jeremy Jacobs owns the team, they won't win the cup or even have a good playoff run. All he cares about is making money, not winning.
