i am looking for a certain email address but i only knew the persons name.

Try going to the Friendster website at http://www.friendster.com. There's a box provided for you to enter the person's name. It might reveal your friend's profile and the e-mail address as well.

in the member directory u can type in the email address of ur friends if they have yahoo mail.

easiest way is to call and ask for it,
you can search in many places for email addresses, yahoo people finder works sometimes.
or google his/her name and the word email first
