I may get my honda city teflon coated as suggested by the dealer.

That's one of the biggest scams dealers have. They spend an hour wiping something on the car that's no better than what you buy at Autozone for $10, and convince you they armor plated it or something. It's about as bad as $200 upholstery treatment that consists of spraying the fabric with Scotchgard.

Teflon doesn't cause cancer. If any is transferred onto your food, the amount is so miniscule that it can barely be measured. If you still don't want to use Teflon, don't. Just be ready to deal with the inconvinience of non teflon coated pans!

Teflon coating. No longer needed because of clear-coat paint used on cars today.

However DuPont makes a Teflon wax which is very good.
