You need to find what is missing, cause it sounds like something is.

Whether you have clinical depression or are just low go see a Doctor but try to resist being given any drugs. They can mess you up more.

You can get St. John's Wort which is a naturally occurring herb from any health food shop. Holland and Barrett do a good jar of them.

It is also getting darker earlier. This affects us all it's called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD for short, and I'm not making this up :) ) www.sada.org.uk/

Try to get outside when it's light, or you can buy light bulbs that give you the same sort of light as outside light and make you feel better if you use them for an hour a day.

Another thing to do is to force yourself to go out and meet up with your friends and chat to them anyway. Do that enough and you'll start to feel like you want to do it more.

What ever you do, don't let the lack of interest rule you.

Oh and stay away from the self help books. Really. They'll mess you up more than drugs will.

Living without dreams is like living without air
No air, no life, no dreams no motivation...

Create something to give you hope, and you have to be willing to give yourself that push. Learn to help yourself then you'll know how to accept help from others.
We have two choices at the end of the day-live or let life pass us by

Time is precious and the more wisely we use it today, the less we'll waste it tomorrow.
Only you can shift the black cloud that blocks the rainbow waiting you-be strong and push it aside and look for the silver lining-only you remember-today makes a difference to how tomorrow is unfolded, make a difference today for tomorrow-LIVE!

Dig out some old music that triggers happy memories, do something to stir the laugher inside, the heartfelt warmth that is buried inside, that is what those times of past are there for, to keep us strong when feel weak. Pray for strength and it'll come

My prayers are with you-
Love an' light xxx

Do something you would normally never do, like take a run around the block in a pair of underwear, can guarantee by the time you get back, get over the embarrassment (even if no one sees you) and stop laughing and or crying, life will look better. Sometimes we just have to something totally off the wall against our normal nature to get us out of a rut. then again, when was the last time you used water balloons full of shaving cream and annihilated someones car, finger painted, heck, just get creative, let loose, and it will help. Staying in touch with your inner child is a great relaxive therapy, personally love a good mud fight!

Sounds as though you might be suffering from clinical depression. Not to worry. It happens to all of us at times, especially when young, but also occasionally throughout life. You could usefully talk to your doctor about it (my daughter is a psychiatrist and many friends are doctors). My own "cure" at times has been to do nothing until I'm so bored with it I do something, anything. A good long walk, especially in the bush, or a bike ride, is good for it too.

I think you should do is do everything that you wanted to do in a certain moment that will not harm yourself or anyone else. I think that is okey if you have no interests.
