A woman has to be arrested by a women constable and only against a arrest warrant from sessions court.
A woman can deny to go to the police station between 6pm to morning 6am even if the police has arrest warrant.

in Tamil nadu they have to put the woman in women"s station only. without strong reasons they should"nt put in remand for a night and so on. Why r u asking? The laws are good in India. But the actions I don"t know.

in India, a woman can only be arrested by a lady constable or lady police officer. she can only be arrested during daytime i.e. after sunrise and before sunset. further no police officer can call her to police station for investigation in fact he has to go to her place.

You have not stated the offence. If you visit police stations or criminal courts you will be shocked to find how many women are bailed and tried by the courts

ANY PERSON DOES UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY MAY BE ARRESTED BY THE POLICE WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE SEX OF THE PERSON. BUT IN CASE OF WOMEN'S ARREST,IT IS NECESSARY THAT WOMAN POLICE WILL ARREST HER.
