Ani, the very fact that you chose to read some books on phisophy ( over the other time filling books) means that over a period of time you have been contemplating. Thnking of things that are unexplainable, like an unexpected , violent death of a child or a close friend.... like a serious sickness affecting a family friend. Whatever , there has been a triggering point. . This is certainly a welcome sign.
We are so used to looking at ourselves in a mirror in a distorted way, that when you see yourself in a normal mirror , you will feel a little different. That is all.
If you want to come out of this "bad" habit of spiritual reading you can always come back. But, since you have had some exposure please keep reading a few small books, that are easy on reading and encouraging. I can ALMOST sense why you are affected.
Any philosophical thoughts or books talk so casually about death. They treat dying and living in one breadth! Many , particularly if you are young, cannot take it easily. The after feelings linger on which you classify as bad. It may be almost like visiting a funeral for some.
Donot worry. Between now and , say,1 week please try to meet someone who is 100 years old! You will have to search high and low. You will then know that living 36500 DAYS is possibly an exception. So, run and enjoy life.

Any religion or faith should allow you to question things, so don't close yourself off to new reading. If you have read something that makes you question your spirituality keep reading and at the same time think about the central figure in your religion and imagine what they would do when faced with the questions you now pose. I'm sure that given time your questions will lead you to a greater feeling of spirituality.

Just read some more and I promise you you'll soon find your way back - if not, you will start enjoying this way - in other words, this is a win-win solution!!

Physocological treatment. Seriously, talk about it and try to break away from it cos it may destroy your ability to think normally.
