Russia is a beautiful and ancient country. It is very nice to visit, and you will always remember the time you spent there. One to two weeks of time in-country would be best - enough to see Moscow (the Kremlin with its treasures, the Bolshoi, cathedrals and churches) and St. Petersburg. Do not stay too long, though, or look too deeply, or you will see a dark underside that is best left un-noticed.

I studied Russia some when I was younger and I enjoyed learning of their history. A very proud country!
