Just like any other majors, you will need to have qualifying GPA, SAT and ACT or TOEFL (if needed by the college). Architecture requires strong math and physics scores, so your grades in these two subjects are very important. They also require some sort of portfolio, but this requirement differs depending on the college. I know UC Berkeley has a very good architecture program, and it's very competitive. Cornell, Carniege Mellon also have pretty good architecture program.
