Hiking boots for everyday wear?

I need to get a new pair of shoes, I want to get some boots. I was thinking on hiking boots. But can they be worn everyday for anything? Like could I comfortably walk and stand in them, what about run?

They are called hiking boots for a reason. I suggest getting some regular boots that are fashionable but also comfy!

you can wear them every day, you just have to find a comfortable pair but i can tell you now it wont be that easy to run cause hiking boots are really heavy! but in the end it is up to you!
