Do you have to apply eyeliner to top of your eyes or can you just do the bottom?

The bottom only technique is something from the 80s and it does make your eyes look smaller.

For tips on applying eye make-up, see the tutorial at the website: http://www.marykay.com/michellewebb/whatsnew/applicationtips/default.aspx

You can wear eyeliner however you like.

In general, eyeliner along the top lid only tends to make eyes look wider, while eyeliner on both the top and bottom creates a smaller, narrower look. Eyeliner just on the bottom tends to also create the illusion of a more narrow eye.

Sometimes it looks nice if you only apply eyeliner to the top lid.
